The Opportunity We are currently seeking a Specialist Bid Tender Writer to provide high-level, on-call support (2–3 days/week) to the Industry and Innovation Branch of our client’s Strategic Finance and Transformation Directorate. In this role, you will lead the development of persuasive, strategic, and high-quality tenders, grants, and funding proposals that align with the organisation’s education priorities and future skills strategy. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly skilled and self-motivated writer with a deep understanding of government procurement and funding environments. Key Responsibilities Develop and write tenders, EOIs, grants, and proposals aligned with strategic growth objectives Translate complex policy and technical information into clear, compelling narratives Manage the end-to-end tender process, including compliance, formatting, and approvals Collaborate with internal stakeholders across multiple business areas to develop accurate and high-impact submissions Build and maintain a central repository of proposal content and case studies for reuse Monitor policy and funding trends to inform proposal strategy and positioning About You To be successful in this role, you will bring a high level of written communication expertise, the ability to work autonomously, and the flexibility to respond quickly to urgent opportunities.
